7.       Install the PDANet for PC (if not already installed) and confirm that it is connected to the phone.

8.       Open the PDANet+ menu from the notification bar of your Windows and click on “Connect Internet (USB)”.

9.       It will verify and authenticate your connection automatically and you will be connected via USB.

After successful connection via USB, you can install Connectify on your PC and share the internet with other devices.

METHOD THREE

HOW TO SHARE/TETHER YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION WITH ANOTHER PHONE OR PC VIA WI-FI HOTSPOT WITH MANUAL CONFIGURATION

1.   Create a Wi-Fi hotspot on the main (primary) phone (running the Simple Server).  Use default (no security hotspot or click to see how to create a secured Wi-Fi hotspot connection).

2.   Now go to the other phone/device (secondary) and switch on the Wi-Fi to start searching for available network (if you have used the secured connection, click to show how to connect).

3.    When connected, long press on the connected network name and then tap on “Modify Network”.

4.    On the next screen, tap on the “Show Advanced Options” checkbox to open full settings.

5.    On the proxy settings, select “Manual” (Tap on the “none” for the dropdown options to appear.

6.       Configure as follows:

          -        Proxy Hostname: 127.0.0.1

          -       Proxy Port: 8080

        Leave the rest and tap on “Save”

This method of unlocking your Nokia phone without unlock code, requires the use of the phones 15 digit imei to generate a 10 digit Master unlock code you can use to unlock phone at anytime.

Steps
==>While phone is unlocked, dial *#06# to retrieve the Phones 15 digit imei or open the back case of the phone and carefully copy out the the imei written there.
==>Goto http://www.unlockitfree.com and click on “Free Remote Instant Master Code“.
==>Enter the 15 digit imei number of the phone you wish to unlock and click on Generate.
==>Copy the 10 digit master code generated. And use to unlock phone whenever you wish to unlock it.

Unlocking Without Online Code Generator / Master Code

Method Three (3)

This method works perfectly in unlocking the newer sets of Nokia s40 java phones like Nokia 2690, 2700, 3110c, 5130, 2626

Normally when its not locked, you will need to press the Center button then * to unlock. But since its locked, after pressing the Center button, followed by *, you will then be required to provide the unlock code.

To bypass that and unlock without code follow this steps.

Steps
==>Turn On the Nokia device, and allow to finish.
==>While on Standby mode, dial 112 (Emergency call number) and Tap the Green call key to send.
==>Wait for one (1) second and hit the top right “End Call” key to terminate call.
==>You should notice that the phone forgot its self and displayed Goto by the left side, Menu at the center and Music, Media, Calculator etc on the right depending on what’s set.
==>Now when you notice that quickly Tap Menu (center button). This should take you to the phone menu.
==>Repeat step again but this time tap the Navigation keys until you get to settings.
==>Under settings, Goto Phone=> Automatic keyguard. And turn it Off. The phone should now be wild open.

When done, you can easily turn Automatic Keyguard back ON, then Use Menu followed by * to lock.

Method Four (4)


I call this the oracle method. I’ll say Nokia really did a very big mistake by letting this loop hole exist in most of its phones. Its the simplest and fastest way to unlock the new Nokia Asha series devices, without any code whatsoever, no master code needed, no software.

Phones include Nokia Asha 200, 201, 202, 203, X2, etc

And you know what? I revealed it to my little Nokia freak cousin, and the first week, he used it in unlocking his phone each time instead of using the actual unlock code.

And the next week, he removed the security code completely stating it was completely useless. And opted for an Android phone. Not knowing an Android phone can also be unlocked without its correct pattern too. Soon i will be talking on how to bypass an Android lock pattern as well. But for the mean time;

==>Input 911 as the code and hit the Green Call key to send.
==>Immediately after sending, Tap the top right End call key twice to unlock.
==>The phone should now be unlocked. And shall remain open till you reboot the Nokia device.

NOTICE: NCC blocks 10.7 million telephone lines

The Nigerian Communications Commission has blocked more than 10.7 million mobile telephone lines in the last two weeks (since August 11) for improper registration.

It said on that at the completion of a “strict monitoring of mobile operators in the country,” it was likely to block 28.61 million more lines found to be defective, which would bring the total number of deactivated lines to 38.78 million.

The ongoing deactivation of preregistered Subscribers Identification Modules cards on the network of mobile operators in the country led to the blockage of the telephone lines.

Speaking in Lagos, the NCC said the lines were barred due to improper registration details including poor fingerprints; lack of facial information and other biometric challenges.

The Head of SIM Registration Project, NCC, Mr. Bashiru Idris, said the operators and their agents were expected to ensure proper biometric capturing of subscribers including the fingerprints and facial outlook, “but they failed to do so in most cases.”

According to the commission’s Head of Compliance and Monitoring Unit, Efosa Idehen, the regulator has since the expiration of the ultimatum given to operators (August 11), been visiting the operators to ensure compliance.

He said that in September 2014, the NCC discovered that from the SIM data the operators sent to the commission for hamonisation, some were defective and had to be returned to the operators for proper and complete checks.

Idehen said, “18.6 million SIM data were sent back to MTN Nigeria; 10.46 million to Etisalat; 7.49 million to Airtel; and 2.23 million to Globacom.

“The huge figures are a sign that the operators are partially committed to the exercise; more so, the NCC monitoring exercise proved us right.”

He said out of the about 18.6 million SIM registration data found to be defective on MTN network, only about 1.6 million had been barred.

“What MTN actually did was to put the affected subscribers on ‘Receive calls only’, which means the subscribers cannot put a call through to another network. With this, there was no compliance from MTN,” Idehen said.

He also said, “During our visit to Airtel, the telecommunications service had fully barred 2.3 million lines from their networks. These are SIM data found to be incomplete. At Globacom, 3.5 million lines have been barred also from their network.

“Globacom gave assurance of 24 hours to deactivate other lines found to be defective on their networks.

“Etisalat has barred 3.3 million lines and promised that within 24 hours, others found to be challenging will be removed totally from the networks.”

Idehen said the directive given to the operators was to block any line found to have incomplete registration, while they (operators) could later urge the affected subscribers to come and complete their registration.

He, therefore, said that to check any excesses henceforth, “operators will be required to send correct data for hamonisation to the regulator.”

He said the NCC would sanction any operator going contrary to the stipulation of the SIM Card Registration Code, sections 19 to 21, with an errant operator paying N200,000 for each flaw.

Simple Android Server Version 3 Announcement

Hello,
There will be a significant update to Simple Android Server in the coming week(s). This update will include a VPN.
This VPN is not based on OpenVPN or any other opensource VPN. We developed it from scratch in order to make it as simple and light as we want.
Another reason for this is that we want to be able to easily add features to the VPN whenever we want and also handle bugs easily without having to go through a sea of code with little documentation.
The VPN will have compression but no encryption (yet) and is fast. However, there is a certain level of latency to be expected since the requests are now traveling through a remote server.
For rooted devices, there will/may be a feature that lets you connect other devices to the SAS VPN installed on another device. So if you have the SAS VPN running on your android device and your WiFi Hotspot is on with some devices connected to it, requests from those connected devices will pass through the SAS VPN installed on your device. With this, you can connect your PC, iPad, iPhones and whatnot.
I am using this feature to create this post now but it is not as stable as it should be yet.
The SAS v3 will also include a way to easily see the values of your current configuration in a very convenient way. This is handy when trying to diagnose SAS connectivity issues.
The current proxy server feature will still be available.
We appreciate that Simple Android Server has been useful to a lot of people. We also hope to always have the ability of increasing it's usefulness.

input the IMEI number of the modem into the
IMEI tab on the software and then click on
‘calculate code’. It will automatically generate
the ‘Unlock Code’ and ‘Flash Code’. Copy the 8
digit unlock code on a notepad. The next thing
to do is, insert any other network SIM card e.g.
Etisalat SIM into your modem e.g. MTN modem,
and plug in your modem into your PC USB port.
You will be asked to enter your unlock code

generated by the Huawei Modem Unlocker and

Dial *200*3*3*1*1# to subscribe.

You will get the welcome message to etisalat chatpack. And you will also be given 10MB data for 24 hours.

You do not need money to renew it again as it auto renews without everyday without stopping.

The speed is slow but it works 24hrs after you exhaust the 10 mb. You get messages that you have used up the data, just ignore and continue to use it.

Just set the connection settings to:

proxy port: 8080

To configure Simple server on phone:

Launch your SimpleAndroidServer, go to settings:

Close settings.

Best browser for this is UCweb mini as it is faster than others.
